You literally have to take the plunge before you're able to breathe easily and once you're breathing easily you're able to focus on the other stuff. Swimming is planning. Discuss. Or don't.

And, as an outsider, I'm totally with you about workshops (and also focus groups) - I'm sure they have their uses, but they reek of performative billability to me. As if how you get there is as important as where you get to.

And don't get me started on all the output that looks and reads like a university assignment.

Swimming is planning John. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not nervous, it's not going well.
We need more outsiders' perspective, some of it is billability, some of it is the inability to make decisions. Used wisely, workshops can better work through - it's harder to reject work you think you came up with yourself
